These are our “open to the public” days. They are focused on educating the public about our vision, mission, and initiatives. Open Gate Day is about building community, sharing the ranch, education, fundraising, and expanding our reach to more people.
Bring your family and friends out to our ranch to learn about the Native American history on the land, the regenerative projects we are doing to restore the ecosystem for our water and land and hear about our vision for the generations to come!
The day will be a lot of fun including:
Touring protected Native American historical sites
Learning about restoration and conservation work on the land
Horse-drawn wagon rides
Live Native American music performances from Arvel Bird,, the Celtic Indian. Arvel has toured with Glen Campbell, Loretta Lynn, Tom T. Hall, Ray Price, Louise Mandrell and Clay Walker. He plays Bluegrass, Appalachian, Folk and Celtic music. Arvel Bird’s performance is sponsored by Weston Wilson and Becky Donlan’s non-profit organization, Native American Research and Preservation, Inc.
Meet our newest alliance, Nature’s Educators! They will be presenting and teaching us about our native Colorado birds that include a golden eagle, hawks, raptors and more!

Burgers on the grill, and so much more!
Tickets are $20/adult (13+), $10/youth (6-12) which includes lunch. Kids 5 and under are free.
Lunch will include Badger Creek Ranch beef hamburgers on the grill!
