apprentice scholarship fund
We’re excited to announce a new scholarship fund dedicated to covering the costs of room and board for the apprentices at Badger Creek Ranch. This scholarship was created in honor of our dear friend Isabelle Masters. Isabelle, or “Izzy,” had long been a close friend of our family, growing up alongside our children. She was a lover of the outdoors and always had a special touch with animals. Having spent her last years working on a farm, Izzy embodied the same spirit we see in the young people who come to the ranch as apprentices. Last fall, Isabelle passed suddenly from an aneurysm at just 33 years old. In the face of this tragic loss, we could not think of a better way to honor her legacy than a scholarship fund that empowers other young people to begin their journey into the world of agriculture.
