Additional Program Activity Details
Hike and explore the historical Buffalo Jump to experience where Native American tribes would gather for annual bison harvests, and the teepee rings where the families would stay during their time in this area.
Participate in ranch chores: feeding the sheep and chickens, collecting eggs.
Meet the ranch horses who help make ranch work possible. Learn about horse behavior and grooming and see the tack used to work cows out on the range.
Take in the landscape of the ranch on an afternoon wagon ride with Poncho and Lefty. This is a great chance to check out the plow, sleigh, and carriage that the horses can pull to help with plowing, transportation, and more.
Complete a craft project to remember your day at the ranch.
Enjoy a watermelon and homemade ice cream party to finish out a fun day!
