WE ARE EXCITED TO RETURN TO BADGER CREEK RANCH FOR OUR THIRD ANNUAL LAND HEALTH WORKSHOP AND HOPE YOU JOIN US FOR 1.5 DAYS OF LANDSCAPE ASSESSMENT, HOLISTIC MANAGEMENT, RIPARIAN RESTORATION, AND SOIL CONSERVATION!
During the workshop, participants will learn to read the landscape to better understand surface flow and process and get hands-on instruction for building erosion control structures—including one rock dams, rock rundowns, and media lunas. This year’s workshop will also include an interactive field tour with Badger Creek Ranch and their collaborators, which will provide participants with the opportunity to view ongoing projects on the ranch and engage in conversations regarding the considerations, decisions, and resources needed to plan and implement holistic management and restoration projects in riparian and upland areas. This workshop is perfect for ranchers, land managers, beginning agrarians/land stewards/students, and anyone else looking to improve their skills and knowledge of erosion control, riparian restoration, and holistic management.
